Description:

Sopra Steria is hiring a Cloud DevOps Support Module Lead for its delivery center in Siruseri, Chennai. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure development and operational governance, requiring an engineer to lead the stabilization and automation of enterprise cloud workloads during UK business hours. You will build continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, provision automated infrastructure components, manage orchestration runtime engines, and coordinate directly with multi-regional security and QA squads inside Agile sprint models to sustain highly available, fault-tolerant cloud environments.

Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA or an equivalent advanced computing degree.
• 4+ years of hands-on professional cloud engineering and architecture experience scaling infrastructure across public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep configuration proficiency writing, testing, and modularizing repeatable environmental blueprints using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Direct experience building container configurations with Docker and managing multi-node deployment strategies inside Kubernetes clusters.
• Proven competency engineering and troubleshooting automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows for software deployments via engines like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Advanced scripting capabilities utilizing Python, Bash, or Microsoft PowerShell alongside server configuration runbooks using Ansible to eliminate routine manual sysadmin tasks.
• Strong technical familiarity navigating Linux/Unix terminal environments, standard command-line tools, and managing version control code branches through Git.
• Working knowledge implementing cloud infrastructure monitoring, structured logging aggregates, and handling root-cause analysis metrics for active incident management.
• Practical execution awareness surrounding cloud security postures, identity and access management (IAM) policy mapping, cryptographic keys, and systemic regulatory compliance filters.
• Demonstrated ability to assist in evaluating, designing, and optimizing highly available, load-balanced, and fault-tolerant architecture arrays.
• Holding an active Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or a CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) designation, coupled with multi-cloud or hybrid landscape experience.
• Exceptional team collaboration mindset within Agile setups, solid documentation habits to publish runbooks, and verbal English communication depth to support global stakeholders under a rotational shift template.
